PDF Scanner – AI PDF Reader includes a document scanning feature that allows you to create PDFs by capturing images or selecting images from your device.
Camera Access
Camera access is required only for scanning physical documents and converting them into PDF files.
The camera is activated only when you initiate a scan. We always request your explicit permission before accessing the camera. Captured images are processed locally on your device. No photos or scanned documents are uploaded, stored, or transmitted to Bougie Labs servers.
Gallery / Media Access
Gallery access is used only when you choose to import images to create or edit PDF files.
The app accesses only the images you explicitly select. Imported images remain on your device and are not shared externally. All camera and gallery access occurs only with user consent and strictly for core app functionality.
