1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Word Reader – Docs Creator, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all users of the app.
2. Description of the App
Word Reader – Docs Creator is a free Android application that allows users to:
- Open, read, and view Word (.doc, .docx) files stored on their device
- Create and edit Word documents directly on their device
The app is free to download and use. It contains advertisements and optional in-app subscription purchases.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscription
a) Free Version The free version of the app is fully functional and supported by advertisements from third-party ad networks.
b) Premium Subscription We offer an optional paid subscription that removes all advertisements from the app. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or yearly depending on the plan selected) through the Google Play Store
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Your Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings under Google Play → Subscriptions
- No refunds are provided for the unused portion of an active subscription period, except where required by applicable law
- Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated in advance through the app or Google Play Store listing
4. Advertisements
The free version of the app displays advertisements served by third-party ad networks including but not limited to AdMob, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Mintegral, Liftoff, Pangle, Unity Ads, and IronSource. These ads help us keep the app free for all users.
By using the free version, you consent to the display of such advertisements. To remove ads, you may purchase a Premium Subscription as described in Section 3.
5. User Responsibilities
By using Word Reader – Docs Creator, you agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
- Not use the app to open, create, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes upon the rights of others
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the app
- Not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any subscription or licensing mechanism within the app
- Take full responsibility for any documents you create or open using the app
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, titles, and interests in and to the app, including but not limited to its design, code, graphics, and branding, are owned by Bougie Labs. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the app.
You retain full ownership of any documents and files you create using the app. We claim no rights over your content.
7. Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and handle your data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Word Reader – Docs Creator is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Bougie Labs does not warrant that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- All Word file formats will be fully supported or rendered perfectly
- The app will meet your specific requirements
Use of the app is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bougie Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data or documents.
10. Modifications to the App and Terms
Bougie Labs reserves the right to:
- Modify, update, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without prior notice
- Update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date
Continued use of the app after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
